They use the latest tools and technologies and invest in their developers!If you want to build something that will last, with a team of passionate developers, read on!Day to Day:Lead and advise a team of developers on an established Core SystemDefine and justify application architecture for new enhancement requestsAnalyze and propose more efficient and scalable code and refactors for existing modulesProvide technical guidance and coaching to development teamCoordinate with members of the Architecture team to establish standards across application codebaseBuild intuitive, efficient user interfaces using AngluarJS, with plans to move to the latest Angular releaseDevelop stable, scalable, secure and performant APIs using .NET 5+Utilize modern design practices with HTML5 and CSSActive Development in Azure using cloud-based data storage such as Azure SQL, Redis, and Blob StorageMaintain automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps for CI/CD REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree (major in information technology or related field preferred)8+ years experience in .NET Framework, including MVC and Web API8+ years MSSQL experience (creating and maintaining relational databases, stored procedures, views, functions, etc.)5+ years JavaScript experience and advanced knowledge of a front-end framework/library such as Angular/React/VueJS/AngularJSStrong experience with building and maintaining RESTful web servicesExperience with ORMs such as Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL, or Dapper.Strong understanding of API driven architectureFeel at home using standard source control technologies such as Git and TFVCAbility to write effective unit, integration, and e2e testsSelf-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAdditional certifications and relevant training a PLUS Nice to have: Experience with .Net Core 5+ in a production environment Experience with AngularJS in a production environment Strong experience with Code First EF Azure experience, including deployments across PaaS offerings and Application Insights Experience with Microservice Architecture Experience in the Finance/Insurance Industry WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY: This role is with one of the most highly regarded 100 year old firms in their industry!
