Immediate opening for Quality Engineer for Brookfield, CT area manufacturing company. Salary 75-85k - Direct HireQuality Engineer leads quality initiatives in a manufacturing environment to ensure products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role partners cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement, reduce defects, and improve process capability. Key Responsibilities:Lead quality planning and continuous improvement for manufacturing processes Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA, 8D) Analyze quality data using SPC and other statistical tools Support new product launches (PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP/APQP) Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF, AS9100) Lead internal audits; support customer and regulatory audits Investigate and resolve customer quality issues – hands-on positionCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing Strong knowledge of FMEA, SPC, PPAP, DOE, Lean/Six Sigma Experience with quality management systems and audits Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills Preferred: CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma certification Pay rate $ 75 – 85k plus BenefitsDirect Hire positionLocation – company on the Brookfield/New Milford linePay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
