Furniture Assembly and Delivery Technician

Job Description **Job Overview:**We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Seasonal Full-Time Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver. The primary responsibilities of this role include making deliveries to customers across Rhode Island (RI), Connecticut (CT), and Massachusetts (MA), assisting in furniture assembly, and supporting the smooth operation of our shipping department.**Responsibilities:**Safely and efficiently deliver merchandise to customers' homes and other designated locations within RI, CT, and MA.Assist in assembling furniture and other items as needed to fulfill customer orders.Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and shipping areas.Accurately pull merchandise from inventory for customer orders, ensuring orders are fulfilled in a timely and precise manner.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating delivery vehicles and handling merchandise.Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency.Provide exceptional customer service, including courteous interactions with customers during deliveries.**Qualifications:**Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to obtain a DOT Medical Examination Certificate (if not already possessed).Experience in commercial driving and route driving preferredAbility to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasksProficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacksStrong customer service skillsPrior experience working in a warehouse setting is a plusThis position offers competitive pay, opportunities for growth, and a dynamic work environment.
