We are hiring a Registered Occupational Therapist for one of our clients in Carlsbad, TX.Job Description:Complete Occupational therapy assessments.Perform treatments, monitoring, training for clients and staff, and write all required information by deadlines with quality.Program planning for individuals with a variety of diagnosisAttend meetings or provide information when needed.Work involves skilled therapy and attendance at client meetingsHave good communication skills, including relaying information to other team members, documentation, completing reports, teaching Direct Support Professional staff on the homes.Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Physical Therapist Education, Licensure, and Practice in the State of Texas.Will abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and Facility.Minimum Qualifications:All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the FacilityMaintain current Occupational Therapist license with the State of Texas. Maintain CEUs for licensure.Must be in "good standing with Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.Preferred Experience1-3 years in working with individuals with intellectual disabilitiesOtherMust comply with HHSC immunization requirementsMust submit to HHSC required drug testMust submit to HHSC required fingerprintingMust comply with facility and HHSC required trainingWork hours:Schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM M-F with some flexibility to do assessments.About Us:
