Stronger together, we promote an environment where individuals can thrive.Senior Solutions Architect (Application Development)” The Solutions Architect with be responsible for defining the architecture of multiple systems and developing solutions based on WKC predefined processes, guidelines and best practices to address business requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead the identification, design, scope and development of technical solutions for enterprise applications and information systemsLead multiple work streams to ensure design, build and implementation adheres to enterprise visionDefine and describe component stacks, integrations dependencies and data flows for technical and business usersServe as a key member of the customer facing team in helping to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications and services on WKC platforms.Work closely with Domain Architects to help align solutions with enterprise/domain-wide strategic technology direction.Partner with business functions, platform development and delivery teams and other architects to enhance existing applications or ensures new systems can integrate and seamlessly communicate with other applications.Collaborate with other technology teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problemsParticipate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.Leads, mentors and coaches the work of other employees.Recommends policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization and shares best-practice knowledge amongst WFS solutions architect and technical lead community.Advise functional and technology leaders to assist in key initiatives, and organizational alignment that supports making informed business decisionsManage program and architectural interdependencies between programs across multiple Squads and the enterpriseFacilitating the understanding and adoption of the solution architectures with the capability and service teamsDemonstrates accountability, makes timely and appropriate decisions on programs and multiple domainsExperience And EducationBachelor's degree in computer science or related field10+ or more years' experience designing and implementing distributed applications in an enterprise environment10+ years' experience establishing, building, testing and deploying the functional components of web-based systems/supporting applications5+ years of experience in API development and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)5+ years of experience in agile software developmentCompetenciesability to drive strategic directionability to drive problem solving and influence decision makingexperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic agile environmentability to work effectively with cross-functional teamstechnical expertise in managing cloud-based application platforms at scalehands-on development skills to guide and lead application modernizationpossess excellent leadership qualities to help guide, develop and attract talentWorld Kinect is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
