Company DescriptionForesight-X is an early-stage startup building AI decision-support agents that help people navigate complex personal and professional choices. Our product combines structured analysis, long-term memory, evidence-based reasoning, and transparent recommendation workflows to make high-quality decision support more accessible.We are currently developing our core product with strong access to CMU student talent, technical collaborators, and academic mentorship. As an early-stage team, we move quickly, iterate closely with users, and give team members the opportunity to directly influence product direction, technical architecture, and company strategy.Role DescriptionForesight-X is looking for a Full Stack Engineer Intern to join our team remotely. The intern will work closely with product and engineering teammates to build and improve real product features across the front end and back end.Responsibilities may include implementing user-facing features, refining UI/UX details, integrating designs with modern web technologies, building APIs and backend services, improving data flows, debugging issues across the stack, writing tests, and participating in product and technical discussions. The role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on startup experience and is excited about building AI-powered products from an early stage.This is currently an unpaid internship. However, Foresight-X is actively preparing for fundraising, and strong contributors may be considered for future paid roles, longer-term positions, or equity-based opportunities if funding is secured and the team moves forward together.QualificationsExperience with front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks and CSSAbility to build responsive, polished, and user-friendly interfacesBack-end development experience, including APIs, databases, and service integrationFamiliarity with full-stack development workflows, version control, testing, and debuggingInterest in AI-powered products, decision-support systems, and early-stage startupsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceAbility to work independently in a remote startup environmentExperience with cloud platforms, Python or similar back-end languages, authentication, databases, or basic DevOps practices is a plusPrior startup, hackathon, research, or product-building experience is also a plus
