Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Job Summary
As a Full Stack Developer at Belt Power, you’ll join a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle—from conception to deployment. You’ll build scalable solutions by working across both front-end and back-end technologies, frameworks, and third-party libraries.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
You’ll help design, build, and support modern applications that serve the business and our customers:
Partner with development teams and the product manager to ideate software solutions
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build front-end experiences with appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective APIs
Test for responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile-responsive design
Write technical documentation
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Advise internal clients on software maintenance
Follow all prescribed safety rules, maintain a neat work area, and represent Belt Power professionally
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements:
What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications)
We’re looking for a developer who can hit the ground running:
5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (or similar role)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Familiarity with common full-stack patterns and tools
Strong knowledge of multiple front-end languages/libraries such as:
HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery
Working knowledge of multiple back-end languages, such as:
C#, Java, Python
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as:
Angular, React, Node.js
Familiarity with:
Databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
Web servers (e.g., Apache)
UI/UX design concepts
Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills

Physical Demands
The Full Stack Developer may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls, tools, and other items used to make adjustments and/or minor maintenance. This role may involve sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods of time.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the Full Stack Developer will be regularly exposed to working near moving and mechanical parts and equipment. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Schedule, Location & Travel
Full-time, in-office, with work in office, shop, and at customer sites
Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Frequent travel may be required, including overnight travel, overtime hours, and weekend work as needed
