Test Development Engineer
Main FunctionCreate, validate, implement and maintain PNY's software and hardware test methodsProvide test engineering support for all PNY facilitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalentAdvanced degree and/or additional technical education is a plus2+ years’ experience in a test engineering environmentExcellent troubleshooting, problem solving and project management skillsAbility to multitask, in a fast paced production environmentProficient with operating systems and component test hardwareWorking knowledge of :Automated Test Equipment (ATE)UNIX/LinuxProgramming languages a plusFamiliar with the operations of memory, video and NAND FlashExcellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to travel (less than 5%)Working ConditionsTime is split between regular office, lab and production test areas, with ESD procedures to be observed.Key RelationshipsInterfaces with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, Operations, suppliers and customersDuties And ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
