Technical Program ManagerLocation: Cambridge, MA Hybrid Locals The RoleThe Technical Program Manager will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex software development projects across multiple platforms and teams. This role requires strong leadership, a deep technical understanding, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing project timelines, dependencies, and risks to deliver high-quality outcomes.Here’s What You’ll DoLead the end-to-end planning and execution of technical initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and technical solutions.Manage projects schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and issue resolution.Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product management, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.Act as the primary point of contact for project status, providing regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.Utilize Agile methodologies to drive program execution, optimizing processes for continuous improvement.Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and communication across teams to ensure alignment on program goals.Identify and resolve project bottlenecks, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and program outcomes.Participate and actively lead technical team ceremonies consisting of data engineers and software engineers.Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum of 6 years of experience managing complex technical programs or software development projects.Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, with expertise in program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro).Strong technical background with an understanding of software development processes, including CI/CD, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and modern software architectures.Experience managing program schedules, and resources across multiple, concurrent projects.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work in fast-paced work environment, to deal with ambiguity and with evolving organizational strategies.A desire to make an impact as part of a high-growth, transformational company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and Collaborative.Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)Experience in the biotech, healthcare, or life sciences industries.Experience managing large-scale, global projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.Proven success in implementing process improvements and scaling operations in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, capacity planning, and risk management.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive decision-making across teams.
