Employing state-of-the-art robotics, precision welding equipment, and automated machining processes, Dexter has achieved many years of success through a commitment to the principles of superior quality, continuous improvement, and unparalleled customer service.For more information about our company, access Dexter's web site at www.dextergroup.com.JOB DESCRIPTIONAssisting and preparing orders for loadsLoading and/or unloading trucksAuditing loads to ensure product matches the order; verify for accuracyChecking loads to confirm that they are secured to trailerAssisting in planning route to ensure the most economical use of time and equipmentDelivering product to various locationsPicking up raw material for productionPerforming routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and notify supervisor of defects or necessary repairsCleaning and keeping equipment in top working orderPerforming all duties in compliance with appropriate safety and security standardsQUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not requiredMust maintain a Class A CDLMust be able to read work instructions and other work documents provided in EnglishThree (3) years of experience driving preferred but, not requiredPossess a clean driving recordAbility to work without constant supervision and be self-motivatedStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsPossess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail orientedProven time management skills with ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines, up to 12-hour days occasionallyObserves safety proceduresMaintains good work ethic and attendanceWORK ENVIRONMENTWorking primarily outdoors and occasionally indoors where temperatures could be hot/cold, depending on season.Mandatory PPE for eyes, ears, hands, and feet to prevent exposure to hazardous materials or injury.May be required to work overtime, including weekends.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSLifting to 50 pounds. Standing, reaching, balancing, stretching lower extremities constantly. Frequent grasping, pinching and fine manipulation.
