This role will support both our Customer Innovation team and Project Management team, providing hands‑on exposure to advanced manufacturing, testing, documentation, and project execution in a regulated A&D environment.The intern will contribute to real customer programs and internal projects while working closely with engineers, project managers, and operations personnelKey ResponsibilitiesSupporting engineering and project documentation, including compliance matrices, standard work instructions, & process documentationAssisting the Customer Innovation team with:Basic design work for tooling and fixturingATP and product testing (examples: impact flush, liquid flow, & proof testing)Laser marking of parts and components per defined requirementsAssisting with and implementing improvements to the Work Orders for Development projectSupporting the Project Management team with:Generating and maintaining project schedulesTracking open action items and following up with stakeholdersAssisting with procurement activities, including placing Purchase OrdersProviding on‑site manufacturing and operations support, including aiding with packaging and preparation of parts for shipmentRequired QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineeringStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWillingness to work hands‑on in a manufacturing and testing environmentPreferred QualificationsInterest in Aerospace & Defense applications or regulated industriesFamiliarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)Exposure to project scheduling concepts (MS Project or similar)Experience with 3D printing, lab testing, or manufacturing environmentsAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?Job Family: EngineeringBusiness Unit: Mott
