Assistant Project ManagerOur client, a well-established and growing construction firm, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who wants hands-on exposure, mentorship, and a clear path to becoming a Project Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & ExecutionAssist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projectsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines are metSupport day-to-day project operations from pre-construction through closeoutDocumentation & ReportingManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationMaintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with contract documentsTrack project progress and prepare status reportsBudget & Cost ControlAssist with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost trackingReview invoices and support billing processesHelp identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining qualityCommunication & CollaborationAct as a liaison between project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and field teamsParticipate in project meetings and provide updates on milestones and risksEnsure clear and timely communication across all partiesSite SupportConduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standardsWork closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project plansQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or managementStrong understanding of construction processes, documents, and terminologyProficiency in project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
