This role adapts daily duties based on the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring flexible and responsive support.Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Manage patient communications, including telephone triage, offering reassurance, education, and clear instructions.Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications and logs.Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring patients understand physician instructions and treatment plans.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the clinical environment.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.Work Shift: 8:00am 4:30pmLocation: Serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
