Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring consistency and fidelity in service delivery
Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence
Use behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors in children and individuals with autism
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and session reports, adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality
Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to support treatment goals and provide education on behavior management strategies
Ensure a safe environment during sessions by following all safety protocols and effectively managing behavioral challenges
Experience
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral health practices is advantageous
Familiarity with special education settings or patient care environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role
Ability to accurately collect data, document medical records, and understand medical terminology is highly valued
Strong communication skills for teaching clients and collaborating with families or multidisciplinary teams are essential
