About Inception StudioOur mission at Inception Studio is to be the catalyst for the next generation of groundbreaking AI companies. We're a non-profit accelerator for experienced founders at the earliest stage who want to start AI-native companies. We provide the support that founders need to start their next ventures, including intense cohort retreats, demo days and other high-value events, and a curated community of diverse and accomplished founders. In our first year, Inception Studio launched 18 venture-scale companies that raised over $50M in pre-seed funding. Our unique ecosystem is designed to empower entrepreneurs, providing strategic support in a community-driven environment.Role OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and driven part-time associate to join our highly experienced team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career or close to graduation, who possesses a deep passion for the startup ecosystem and is eager to dive into the world of early-stage entrepreneurship, accelerators and venture investing. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, a fantastic communicator, and a meticulous organizer, ready to take on the challenge of coordinating events, securing sponsorships, and managing various communications efforts with our larger community.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Coordination: Plan and execute a range of events from founder retreats to coworking days to large-scale gatherings, ensuring each event is a memorable experience that fosters innovation, learning, and collaboration while also being fun. Many of these events are on weeknights and/or weekends.Sponsorship Acquisition: Identify and engage potential sponsors, developing relationships that support the financial and resource needs of our events.Communications: Craft compelling content across various platforms to promote Inception Studio’s events, success stories, and opportunities. Engage with our community through newsletters, social media, and other channels to keep them informed and excited about our initiatives.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to align event and communication strategies with the organization’s goals.
