About the Role
The ERP Manager will oversee the company’s ERP platform and related enterprise business systems, ensuring they effectively support core business processes and strategic objectives. This role leads a focused ERP team responsible for system implementation, optimization, and ongoing performance, with an emphasis on system stability, strong user adoption, accurate data, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced ERP leader with strong people management skills, deep system expertise, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and system reliability.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop a small team supporting ERP, system integrations, and related business applications
Contribute to additional initiatives and responsibilities as needed to support team success and evolving business needs
Provide mentorship, direction, and performance feedback to promote growth, accountability, and collaboration
Serve as the primary owner of the company’s ERP system (Epicor), leading its implementation, optimization, and ongoing alignment with business processes
Maintain ERP documentation, workflows, controls, and training programs to ensure system consistency and user adoption
Partner with internal development and quality assurance resources to plan and execute ERP enhancements, integrations, and supporting applications
Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience leadership to ensure ERP solutions support strategic priorities and operational goals
Translate business requirements into system solutions, timelines, and technical direction
Drive continuous improvement across ERP-related processes and workflows using data, automation, and user feedback
Evaluate and implement tools or technologies that enhance ERP functionality, reporting, and scalability
Ensure ERP data integrity, security, system reliability, and governance, including change management, role-based security, segregation of duties, audit readiness, and release management
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and proactive problem-solving within the ERP team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of progressive experience working with ERP systems in a leadership or ownership role
Proven people management experience leading technical or systems-focused teams
Demonstrated success implementing, managing, and optimizing ERP systems (Epicor experience strongly preferred)
Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive user adoption during system implementations or major enhancements
Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain
Familiarity with systems integrations, databases, APIs, and SQL
Experience collaborating with software development and QA teams
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Ability to balance strategic ERP planning with hands-on execution and team leadership
