An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to deliver specialized nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment in Thomson, GA. This travel position requires a dedicated professional with expertise in electrophysiology nursing, capable of managing complex patient care independently.Key Responsibilities:Perform patient assessments using triage protocols to anticipate needs and communicate effectively with physicians.Prepare patients and assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.Manage patient care for chest pain, including prevention of delays and maximizing recovery potential.Educate patients on Holter and event monitors, including device use and associated procedures.Coordinate patient flow to enhance efficiency and minimize wait times.Assist in medication management and monitoring, including Coumadin dosage adjustments following office guidelines.Participate in hospital rounds and post-procedure patient assessments.Collaborate with healthcare team members to uphold quality and safety standards.Carry out clinical procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and electrocardiograms.Maintain accurate documentation and manage communication through EMR and voicemail systems.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Associate's degree or diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Current RN licensure (single or multi-state compact) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Minimum of 1 year direct patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.Strong clinical assessment, multi-tasking, and communication skills.Knowledge of state nursing practice regulations and professional ethics.Proficiency with computer systems and attention to detail.Location Overview: Thomson, GA, offers a welcoming community environment with accessible amenities and a blend of suburban and rural living.
