Information Technology ManagerAs an Information Technology Manager, you will lead a team of employees, partner with business partners, and develop, deploy and maintain system solutions and technology to support Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) operations.Location & WorkThis role is located in Morton, IL and does not offer relocation. It is 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 100% on-site with no hybrid or remote schedule. It requires up to 15% domestic and international travel.Key ResponsibilitiesManage business relationships with Integrated Logistics Operations (ILO) and Trade Operations partners, serving as the primary IT liaison.Lead, coach, and mentor a team by overseeing day-to-day activities, prioritizing work, and ensuring clarity of business requirements.Meet regularly with business partners to review, evaluate, and prioritize enhancement and project requests.Collaborate with business partners and IT leaders to deliver ILO and trade initiatives.Own and manage the full project and enhancement portfolios supporting ILO and Trade Operations.Oversee multiple application development, programming, and analysis projects, including design, development, installation, and ongoing maintenance.Partner with global teams to deliver on project commitments across regions.Develop, manage, and track budgets for logistics and trade application portfolios.Work with application support teams to ensure robust, scalable support processes are in place.Drive application lifecycle management, ensuring systems are upgraded and remain current where feasible.Manage relationships with third-party vendors and IT professional services providers.Ensure application solutions meet defined business needs, functional specifications, and quality standards.Monitor compliance with established quality, governance, and delivery standards on an ongoing basis.Maximize team effectiveness through professional development, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.Basic RequirementsBusiness Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that support sound decisions.Information Technology Trends: Awareness of marketplace developments and trends related to organizational IT.Leadership: Proficiency in practices that enlist others to set, embrace, and achieve objectives.Vendor/Supplier Management: Ability to manage relationships with external providers, such as vendors and service contractors.IT Service Management (ITSM): Knowledge of IT service operations and oversight.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of critical competencies for achieving intended results.Project Management Knowledge (PMP) and/or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) certification.Prior experience with logistics.Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.Prior supervisory or managerial experience.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off plan (Vacation, Holidays, Volunteer, etc.)401(k) savings plansHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Health Lifestyle ProgramsEmployee Assistance ProgramVoluntary Benefits and Employee DiscountsCareer DevelopmentIncentive bonusDisability benefitsLife InsuranceParental leaveAdoption benefitsTuition ReimbursementThese benefits also apply to part-time employeesSummary Pay Range$147,760.00 – $221,640.00EEO StatementCaterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer, Including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
