Automation ResponsibilitiesOverview of Responsibilities: Set-up automation cells to run including power, air, and fill/refill consumable materials such as siliconeAssemble/disassemble and clean integrated gluing valve mechanisms in automation cellsChange glue cartridges when necessary and prime systemVerify proper functioning of gluing processes at startup and during in-processVerify proper functioning of vision systems, sensors, leak test equipment and other monitoring devicesCollect QA samples from automation cells for verification by QualityReview scrap trending on automation cell and make adjustments as requiredTroubleshoot equipment alarms, out of tolerance items, and/or equipment stoppagesPerform line clearance within automation cellsChange over sealing equipment drums between part numbersDirect operators to refill components as necessaryCommunicate with Automation Technicians for issues of more technical nature/non-standard issuesReplace mandrel pins on pallets if they become damagedInspection And Measurement ResponsibilitiesVerify that parts being produced and used by production meet print specifications dimensionally and visuallyInspect parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipmentEnter part and process inspection data into SPC softwareGeneral ResponsibilitiesFollow prescribed Work Instructions and utilize equipment as directedMonitor equipment settings and document the informationMonitor and stage components as neededEnd of Run responsibilities including line clearance, part reconciliation, IQ transactions, (PRA) documentation verification such as label reconciliation, component reconciliation, traceability records etc.Assist with training of production personnel as requiredResponsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual PropertyPerforms other duties as assignedFollows safety requirements as defined in Safety ManualQualificationsPreferred Qualifications: Education/ExperienceMathematics course work at a high school level required2 years of experience in plastic injection molding, metal machining or medical device assembly Other Qualifications And Desired SkillsStrong trouble shooting & problem-solving skillsAutomation and/or secondary operations experience preferredQuality inspection experience preferredRequirementsPhysical Requirements: Ability to work in a manufacturing environmentLifting up to 35 pounds20/20 vision with or without corrective lensesBenefitsBenefits and Pay: Medical insuranceDental insuranceBasic and voluntary life insuranceShort and long-term disability insurance401(k) retirement options with a company matchPaid time off Paid holidaysAnnual incentive bonus opportunitiesFlexible spending accountsLegal/ID Shield protection plan Educational assistance and tuition reimbursement programsPayHourly pay range: $20 to $28 Plus shift differential if applicable
