Plastic Process Technician

Job Description We are currently seeking a 1st shift Process Technician at our Reading, PA FacilityEasypak is a world-class company, and we hire only world-class people. In this lead position your responsibilities & activities will include:Purge antifreeze from toolsAssist in tooling assembly, disassembly and maintenanceRemove form tool, trim tool and stacker from machine  Install form tool, trim tool and stacker in machineSet rail positions, trim positions and stacker positionsTroubleshoot process issuesSetup, operate and troubleshoot automationDocument process settingsPerform full tool change and setup on Post Trim or Cut in PlaceThese are the base skills possessed by all Process TechsYou won’t find a better opportunity like the one you’ll find with Easypak. Now, here’s what we need from you:High School diploma or GED requiredTechnical schooling a plus · 1-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food and beverage packaging industry.1-3 years of experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and worked on machines and/or toolingAbility to use computers. Must be able to communicate using email. Must be able to use computer applications including Word and ExceThermoforming experience is a plus.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with associates at all levels of the organization. · Detailed problem solving and analytical thinking.Good written and verbal communications.Strong Technical and Mechanical skills.Ability to safely drive stand up and sit-down fork trucksBasic proficiency in English including the ability to understand and execute instructions on the manufacturing floor.Company DescriptionEasypak is a leading provider of thermoformed packaging solutions used in a wide range of industries and applications globally.
