ACIBuilds.comPosition SummaryThe Microsoft Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrated manufacturing and project schedules that support end-to-end execution of modular manufacturing programs. This role partners with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Project Management teams to establish accurate resource-loaded schedules, identify risks, manage critical path activities, and drive on-time project delivery.The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Microsoft Project scheduling and manufacturing operations, with the ability to convert complex project requirements into executable schedules and actionable reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule Development & Management Develop and maintain integrated master schedules using Microsoft Project for manufacturing and project execution activities. Create resource-loaded schedules including labor, equipment, procurement, and material constraints. Establish project baselines and maintain schedule revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and manage:Level 1 Executive schedules, Level 2 Program schedules,Level 3 Detailed execution schedulesShort-term production and look-ahead schedulesManufacturing Planning & Coordination Coordinate schedule inputs across:Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Construction/Site teams Ensure schedule alignment with:Material lead times, Customer-approved drawings, Manufacturing throughput, Production capacity, Delivery requirementsCritical Path & Risk Management Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule drivers. Monitor schedule performance and identify potential delays. Develop mitigation and recovery plans. Lead schedule risk reviews and support project forecasting.Reporting & Analytics Produce weekly and monthly schedule performance reports. Develop KPI dashboards and trend analysis including:Schedule adherenceManufacturing productivityMilestone performanceResource utilizationForecast completion dates Support Power BI and reporting tools for executive visibility.Continuous Improvement Support development of scheduling standards and best practices. Drive standardization of templates and schedule governance processes. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in:EngineeringConstruction ManagementProject ManagementOperations ManagementBusinessRelated discipline Equivalent experience may be considered.Experience 5–10+ years of scheduling experience in:ManufacturingModular constructionIndustrial projectsLarge capital projects Experience with resource-loaded scheduling and critical path methodologies.
