In this role, you will use your people skills to provide customers with initial product information and consistently exceed their expectations.Main GoalsContact prospective and dormant customers via outbound calls Build relationships that foster customer loyalty and creates new business or converts dormant business. Requirements/ExpectationsCommunicating with prospects directly via outbound and inbound calls Minimum 30 calls required per day Effectively follow and initiate onboarding processLead client tours of the Orbus facilityImplement and lead customer facing initiatives such as our live Orbus University trainingImplement and lead virtual training sessions with potential prospective accountsRepresent Orbus at live events, tradeshows or in person meetings to acquire new businessFollow up with leads from live events Follow up with leads from online inquiriesStrategize on all assigned prospects/buying groups to build call initiativesAbility to work in a team environment to accomplish group call campaignsAbility to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines givenContinued training and growth of key new business/dormant accounts acquiredAccurate estimating/quoting of customer RFP Use of Orbus' software for managing and tracking account progress Contribute to the growth of Business Development as a wholeIn our unique industry we have events, and our customers will have needs that come in beyond our standard working hours, must be able to work nights and weekends if required. Internal ResponsibilitiesOrbus KnowledgeContinuous training to acquire expertise in all Orbus products, equipment, and procedures in relation to your sales channelTraining to acquire the ability and initiate virtual presentationsCustomer Action Plan Analyze prospective client's business to understand growth opportunitiesProduct/Process Development/Improvement Actively looking how you can help Orbus become better through products or processesConstantly learning and training to improve your trade knowledge and skillsCustomer MaintenanceConstantly maintain accurate information on all your accounts and contacts in CRMTeam-PlayerAssist your fellow business development representatives and customer support associates as needed (vacations/PTO, etc.)Involved In Your Sales ChannelActively learn and get involved with knowledge of associations, events, and publications, social media in your sales channelMicrosoft Teams/CRMActively contribute to and acknowledge sale team channelsAll internal communication should be through teamsMaintain up-to-date information on all your accounts in CRMUtilize to understand opportunities and actReportingWeekly run down of good opportunities/positive interactions Conduct Be A ProfessionalConduct yourself in an ethical and professional mannerBe ReliableDo not leave any doubt that you are putting in your best effort each dayBe StoicThings happen!
