Description of the Role:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant (PCA)/Caregiver to join our growing team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Servicing Fullerton, Anaheim and surrounding areas. The PCA provides in-home assistance and support to our clients in their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being. We serve Fullerton, Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Corona and Chino CA as well as the surrounding areas in Riverside and Orange counties. Our office is based in Corona. This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time shifts as the program grows.Benefits:Competitive compensation of $18.50 - $21.00 per hour.Mileage Reimbursement.Option for Pay on Demand.Flexible schedule options with freedom to make your own schedule.Opportunities for career growth and advancement.Continuing education and training programs.Supportive and collaborative work environment.401K Retirement PlanRetention BonusResponsibilities:Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.Providing medication reminders and assistance with medication management.Preparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictions.Assisting with mobility and transferring clients.Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.Engaging in conversation and providing companionship to clients.Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.Requirements:Previous experience as a PCA or similar role.Valid Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.Two references required.Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results.CNA, HHA and First Aid certifications as well as BLS/CPR training a plus.About the Company:Always Best Care Senior Services - Corporate is a leading provider of in-home care services for seniors.
