Benefits: 401(k) Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Vision insurance Wellness resources Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at M’Aiken Bright Futures provides direct, one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients in home and approved community settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT implements individualized treatment plans, collects accurate data, and supports skill acquisition and behavior reduction using evidence-based ABA practices. This role requires professionalism, ethical conduct, and strict adherence to clinical, documentation, and insurance standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct Service Delivery Implement ABA treatment plans as written by the supervising BCBA Provide 1:1 direct therapy in home and approved community settings Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs), skill acquisition programs, and safety protocols Use ABA strategies including prompting, reinforcement, shaping, chaining, and generalization Maintain client dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all times Data Collection & Documentation Collect accurate, objective data during each session Complete session notes and documentation on the same day services are provided Ensure sessions are recorded in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements Communicate session outcomes, concerns, and progress to the supervising BCBA Professional Collaboration Participate in supervision, trainings, and required meetings Attend parent training sessions as assigned Collaborate professionally with caregivers and service providers Accept and implement feedback to improve clinical performance Compliance & Ethics Adhere to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA, and all M’Aiken Bright Futures policies Maintain active RBT certification and required CEUs Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification Report incidents, safety concerns, or ethical issues immediately Caregiver & Family Interaction Maintain respectful, professional communication with caregivers Support caregiver training by modeling strategies under BCBA direction Maintain professional boundaries in all home-based settings Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Active RBT certification through the BACB Minimum of one (1) year of direct ABA service experience Ability to pass background and credentialing requirements Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes Ability to lift or assist clients up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodations Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Experience providing in-home ABA services Familiarity with electronic data collection systems Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to implement treatment protocols with fidelity Professional communication skills Emotional regulation in high-demand situations Reliability, time management, and accountability Commitment to ethical, client-centered care Work Environment & Expectations In-home and community-based service settings Variable schedules including daytime, after-school, and occasional weekends Physical activity including sitting, standing, bending, and active engagement Consistent attendance, timely documentation, and professional conduct required Equal Opportunity Employer M’Aiken Bright Futures is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and respectful workplace practices.
