Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Manchester, NH

This part-time position seeks a highly qualified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized support to K-12 students within a district located between two school sites in New Hampshire. The role involves onsite work with a caseload spanning Brookline and Hollis, requiring a commitment of 10-12 hours per month from the start date through June 17, 2026.Responsibilities include:Delivering educational support tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across kindergarten through 12th gradeCollaborating with school staff and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)Providing assessments, direct instruction, and consultative services aligned with student needsMaintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policiesParticipating in meetings and professional development as requiredQualifications and experience:Active New Hampshire licensure and certification specific to teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of HearingProven school-based experience working within K-12 education settingsMust be able to complete district fingerprinting requirementsStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple school sitesThis contract role schedules flexible part-time hours on-site, providing an excellent opportunity for educators seeking to impact students with hearing differences within a dynamic school environment.
