As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on the Care Coordination 360 team, you will drive critical strategic cloud acceleration initiatives. In this role, you will modernize, refactor, and migrate existing core Java microservices from on-premise environments into AWS EKS, integrate backend architectures with modern database solutions, and collaborate within a cross-functional Agile engineering team.Key ResponsibilitiesReplatform and migrate existing on-premise Java RESTful services into AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).Develop, optimize, and integrate full-stack application components, focusing heavily on backend services (70%) and Angular frontend integration (30%).Modernize data layer integrations connecting application services to Aurora Postgres and MongoDB databases using Hibernate/JPA.Implement test automation frameworks (such as Playwright) to ensure high code quality across development and deployment pipelines.Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Amazon Q) to optimize coding practices, improve velocity, and foster an AI-driven engineering culture.Participate in quarterly on-site Product Increment (PI) planning sessions and collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.Required Qualifications6+ years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus.Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Java 17 or higher (Java 21 experience strongly preferred).Proven experience building and migrating microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Hibernate/JPA, and REST APIs.Core proficiency in AWS cloud services, specifically hands-on experience deploying and managing applications within AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).Experience working with relational and document databases (Aurora Postgres, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).Working knowledge of frontend frameworks, specifically Angular (version 18+ preferred).Preferred QualificationsPrior employment or contracting experience at FEPOC.Active AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect).Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Playwright.Hands-on experience using GenAI developer productivity tools like Amazon Q or Kiro.
