Plumber (Historic Infrastructure + Water Systems Specialist)Location: Lakewood, CO Salary: $72,500 per yearRMCAD is seeking a Plumber (Historic Infrastructure + Water Systems Specialist) to maintain and optimize mechanical and plumbing systems across campus, with specialized responsibility for potable water systems, wells, and treatment processes.Essential ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair plumbing, hydronic, and mechanical systems Perform retrofits on aging infrastructure Operate and monitor potable well systems, storage, and treatment processes Ensure compliance with EPA, state, and local water quality regulations Support HVAC/mechanical equipment (pumps, piping systems) Maintain inspection and compliance documentation Minimum QualificationsLicensed Journeyman Plumber (Colorado preferred) 5+ years of plumbing/mechanical experience Experience with water systems and infrastructure troubleshooting Valid drivers license Prefered QualificationsExperience with well systems, water treatment, or tower systems Knowledge of HVAC/mechanical systems integration Backflow certification Working Conditions and Physical Demands:The noise level in the work environment can be loud enough that personal protective equipment should be worn. Some exposure to temperature extremes. Can be wet and/or humid. Possible mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards, Requires significant lifting, carrying, pushing pulling; frequent stationary position, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; physical mobility and stamina for activities that may be strenuous; and the ability to perform under some temperature extremes. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70-100 pounds.
