Network Architect

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Network Architect to join our team and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our corporate data and voice networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing business and application requirements, planning network installation projects, and troubleshooting network architecture. Additionally, the Network Architect will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining backup, version-control, and viral defense systems, while also making recommendations for system enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Required Skills: Proficiency in Cisco Firewall design, implementation, configuration, and administration Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols Extensive experience in network troubleshooting Knowledge of network design principles and best practices Familiarity with Visio for creating network diagrams Understanding of software-defined networking concepts Expertise in advanced NAT, PAT, and other firewall administration techniques Thorough understanding of network security principles and practices Experience with VPN administration Familiarity with AWS and Azure Cloud Infrastructure Proficiency in DNS management Experience with Load Balancers Expertise in DHCP administration Familiarity with Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto NGFW, IPS, IDS, Remote Connectivity, various monitoring systems, and complex networking & firewall configuration Job Type: Contract Pay: From $65.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: DHCP: 5 years (Required) Network architecture: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: CCIE (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
