Job Description Job Title: Interior Designer / Architectural Design CoordinatorJob Summary:We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer / Architectural Design Coordinator to support clients through residential new construction and remodeling projects. This role combines interior design, architectural planning support, project coordination, and showroom management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, design-driven, and capable of guiding projects from concept through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesInterior Design & Client ServicesConsult with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle needs, budget, and design preferencesDevelop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans for new builds and remodeling projectsSelect and specify materials, finishes, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, flooring, and color schemesPrepare and present design proposals and selections to clientsStay current on design trends, products, and industry best practicesArchitectural Design & PlanningAssist with residential architectural design and layout developmentCreate and revise floor plans, elevations, and construction drawingsCollaborate with architects, builders, engineers, and contractors throughout the design and construction processReview plans and specifications to ensure functionality, accuracy, and design consistencyAssist in coordinating project details, permitting information, and construction documentationConduct site visits to monitor progress and address design-related issuesProject CoordinationAssist with project timelines, scheduling, and material trackingCoordinate design selections and installation schedulesCommunicate regularly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure projects remain on trackHelp resolve design and construction challenges as they ariseShowroom ManagementMaintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroomMeet with vendors to source and introduce new products and materialsCurate and update showroom displays to reflect current offerings and trendsManage and maintain the showroom inventory systemEnsure samples, materials, and product information are organized and up to dateQualificationsBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in residential interior design, architectural drafting, or remodeling projects preferredProficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative SuiteStrong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and space planningExcellent communication, organizational, and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with residential new construction and remodelingKnowledge of building codes and construction documentationExperience working in a showroom or design studio environmentWork EnvironmentCombination of office work, showroom management, client meetings, and on-site project visits
