Construction ManagerProject Solutions Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to provide construction management advisory services to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) during the construction and closeout phases of the Flagstaff United States Courthouse lease construction project.This role is contingent upon award of project.Responsibilities and Duties:Provide Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa) support to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) during the construction and closeout phases of the projectServe as the on-site construction management representative, attending the project site regularly throughout constructionMonitor construction activities and perform site observations and inspections to help verify compliance with project requirementsParticipate in and document project meetings, including coordination meetings with project stakeholdersReview and evaluate project schedules, construction progress, and schedule updatesReview and analyze cost proposals, change orders, and related construction documentationPrepare reports and provide recommendations to GSA regarding construction progress, issues, risks, and project statusSupport project turnover and closeout activities, including punch list review, final inspections, and closeout documentationRequired Education, Knowledge and SkillsEducation/Certification:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or Business Management from an accredited college/university; or 7+ years of construction management leadership experience in lieu of a degreeExperience:Demonstrated experience managing complex, long-term, multi-year construction or capital projectsProven ability to develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including funding and cost control activitiesExperience coordinating project schedules and construction activities within occupied or operational facilitiesStrong background leading multidisciplinary teams, including technical professionals, consultants, and support staffAbility to balance and integrate multiple project priorities, requirements, and stakeholder interests throughout project executionKnowledge of federal, state, and local government building projects, including applicable review, approval, and compliance processesExperience preparing project correspondence, reports, presentations, and maintaining official project documentationExcellent communication skills with experience facilitating meetings and presenting project updates to clients, stakeholders, and leadership teamsKey Attributes & Skills:Strong ability to develop and control project budgets and funding strategiesStrong project scheduling and coordination skills, including managing interactions among existing and occupied facilitiesAbility to manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting staffAbility to integrate competing or conflicting project requirements into planning and execution processesKnowledge of Federal and local government building projects, including procedural, review, and approval requirementsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to prepare correspondence, written reports, and maintain official project recordsAbility to conduct meetings and brief clients and management personnelWhat Does PSI Offer You?Three options for medical plans plus dental and vision insurance offerings24/7 healthcare access to telehealth services for your convenienceHSACompany life insurance options for you and your familyShort-term and long-term disability offeringsPLUS an $800 monthly allowance is provided to offset your PSI insurance premium costs401(k) with a 4% employer matchGenerous PTO, paid-federal holidays, and sick leaveAlways the opportunity for professional developmentThe information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
