Pool Maintenance and Repair Technician
Craft Master Custom Pools is seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of swimming pool equipment repair, plumbing, and general pool structure maintenance. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. We are under new ownership and looking to invest in the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Repair:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of pool equipment, including pumps, motors, filters, heaters, automated control systems, and chemical feeders.
Perform routine maintenance and system winterization/startup procedures.
Plumbing and Leak Detection:
Identify and repair leaks in pool plumbing (PVC, copper, etc.) and shell structures.
Perform complex plumbing repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
Structural and Finish Repair:
Repair and replace pool tiles, coping, and deck pavers.
Perform minor resurfacing and structural patch repairs as needed.
Service and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and necessary future repairs.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding repair status, maintenance tips, and recommendations.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in swimming pool service, repair, and maintenance.
Technical Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and repair both basic and complex hydraulic and electrical pool systems. Tech savvy is a plus.
License/Certification (Preferred but not required): CPO (Certified Pool Operator) or similar professional certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Driving:
Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Must maintain a clean driving record (required for company insurance).
Ability to operate a company service vehicle safely and professionally.
Communication: Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
