Under the direction of the BluCar Operations Manager, the BluCar Facility Manager is responsible for leading the BluCar yard staff to achieve customer service goals and ensure BluCar processes are implemented and followed for all yard functions. Under the direction of the GM and/or AGM and through a thorough understanding of BluCar practices, the Facility Manager will lead their team to facilitate a unique experience for customers by implementing and maintaining best practices that meet company policy, quality and service expectations.*Position will work in a variety of climates such as possible extreme heat or cold, along with indoor and outdoor environments.*Travel required to DFW for trainingJob DutiesHire, train, develop and motivate staff membersEnsure performance is within company standardsEmployee scheduling, time and attendance managementCash handling to include daily bank depositsMonitor yard inventory and purchase as neededConduct performance reviews according to company schedulesPlan and lead meetings per company standardsContract maintenance (certificates of insurance for vendors)Monitor and maintain yard fence Facility and equipment maintenanceAbility to complete all job tasks for positions supervisedCompliance to company Equipment and Safety requirementsAbility to work on mechanical problems present on vehiclesHandle employee/customer service issuesTravel as neededRequired Skills And ExperienceThree (3) years general outside operation management or equivalent experienceHigh School Degree (GED), some college preferredComputer Proficiency (MS Office Suite)Excellent communication skills - verbal and writtenAbility to hire, train, develop and motivate employeesExcellent customer service skillsTyping at least 45 Words Per MinuteAbility to read/write English fluentlyAbility to manage expenses with basic accounting and inventory management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentManaging multiple processes for employeesConflict management skillsAbility to differentiate colorHave a valid driver's licenseBilingual a plusPay $31.89 per hourMedical/Dental/Vision 401k plus a company match ESPP - Employee Stock Purchase Plan EAP - Employee Assistance Program (no cost to you) Vacation & Sick pay Paid Company Holidays Life and AD&D Insurance DiscountsAlong With Many Other Employee Benefits.At Copart, we are focused on harnessing the power of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
