Job Title: Equipment OperatorLocation: Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, United StatesEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleThis position involves operating and maintaining heavy mobile equipment used in aggregate and construction materials operations. The role supports site productivity through safe equipment operation, basic maintenance, and general site support activities.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers, tractors, and backhoesPerform pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is safe for operationSupport site operations and assist crew members as neededPerform basic maintenance such as fueling, greasing, and cleaning equipmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of plant and yard areasIdentify and report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisorsFollow all safety, environmental, and operational proceduresPerform tasks in compliance with company safety standards and regulationsRequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipmentAbility to work in physically demanding outdoor environmentsStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksBasic understanding of equipment safety proceduresSafety RequirementThis role requires strict compliance with respiratory protection standards. Where respirators are required, candidates must pass fit testing to ensure proper sealing.
