Electrical Engineer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our Virginia Beach, VA office. At H&H, you'll join a firm that is building on its legacy by aligning expertise, expanding opportunity, and positioning itself for long-term, sustainable growth.ResponsibilitiesPerforms electrical design & inspection (i.e. low/high power distribution systems, industrial control systems, lighting, etc.)Prepares contract plans, special provisions, and engineer's estimatesReviews drawings and recommends necessary changesResearch design options and document findings for Project ManagersJob duties will involve a mixture of office and field workRequirementsBS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited Degree); Specialization in Electrical Power Systems preferredVirginia PE preferred or the ability to obtain Virginia PE licenseFive+ years of experience in Electrical EngineeringExperience with CAD softwareExcellent writing and communication skillsHighly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to work as part of a team both in the office and in the fieldWillingness to travel for short term assignments on an as-needed basisBenefitsWe offer a professional work environment, competitive salary, benefits package and 401(k).EOE M/F/DISABILITY/VETS
