Assistant Plant Manager

ResponsibilitiesAssist in overseeing daily plant operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently metSupervise and support a large hourly and salaried workforce (100+ employees), fostering accountability, engagement, and performanceEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety programs, promoting a strong safety‑first cultureSupport planning and coordination across framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related construction disciplinesPartner with plant leadership on workforce scheduling, training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiativesAct as a hands‑on leader on the production floor to address operational issues, support teams, and drive timely resolutionQualificationsProven experience supervising and managing 100+ hourly and salaried employees in a manufacturing or construction environmentStrong working knowledge of Type V (wood‑frame) building construction, including framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related tradesDemonstrated experience in OSHA compliance, safety programs, and risk managementAbility to lead a diverse workforce and communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationBilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferredSalary: $80k – $100kAsk for: Aarti ManchandaAjulia Executive Search is a New Jersey–based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches across Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical sectors.
