With a workforce of over 100 team members and partnerships with regional subcontractors, we are equipped to execute solar energy projects of various scales across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyperson located in Ijamsville, MD. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and solar panels for residential and commercial projects. The Journeyperson will interpret blueprints, ensure compliance with electrical codes, perform electrical testing, and collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Safety and high-quality workmanship are key priorities for this role, as well as maintaining an organized and productive worksite.QualificationsStrong knowledge and experience in electrical system installation, maintenance, and repairAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsExperience with solar panel system installation and familiarity with commercial solar construction practicesUnderstanding of electrical codes and safety regulationsProficiency in troubleshooting and resolving electrical system issuesStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precisionPhysical stamina to work in varied conditions, including outdoors and at heightsPossession of a Journeyperson Electrician License and a valid driver's licenseExperience in team collaboration and effective communication skillsExperience in the solar industry and familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) are considered assets
