This franchise branch will support Katy, Fulshear, Cypress, and surrounding areas of Houston in these areas: Lighting, Shading, Networks / WiFi, Indoor/Outdoor Audio and Video, Home Theaters, Security (cameras/doorlocks), Home Assistants, and Smart Home Automation.Why You'll Love This RoleDaisy is a national company with strong centralized technical and commercial support. This role offers technical challenges to implement and support smart home systems that enhance the lives of those in our community. There will always be opportunities to grow technically and professionally. Some technicians in other branches have progressed to be Project managers and Sales personnel.What You'll Be DoingInstall, configure, and service integrated AV, lighting, shades, networking, cameras, and home automation systemsInteract with customers, trade partners, and contractors in the most professional mannerInstall and terminate low-voltage cabling, panels, and junction boxesTroubleshoot audio, video, networking, and control systemsboth simple and complexInterpret project blueprints and system schematics to execute installations accuratelyEnsure clean, code-compliant, and high-performance installations at client sitesCommunicate daily progress and issues to the Project ManagerAct as the on-site point of contact for clients, designers, builders, and architectsMaintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent conditionMentor and lead junior technicians as neededDeliver service that meets Daisy's standards for quality, reliability, and professionalismWhat You Bring to the TeamHigh school diploma or equivalent5 to 7 years of AV/Networking /Technology Integration ExperienceCompetitive candidates will have proven capacity in several of the following areas: Lighting, Shading, Networks / Wi-Fi, Indoor/Outdoor Audio and Video, Home Theaters, Security (cameras/door locks), Home Assistants, and Smart Home Automation.Experience with Control4 or Creston with smart home automation platforms is preferredIndustry-recognized certifications (CEDIA, AVIXA, manufacturer, etc.) are preferredBring a positive attitude, good customer service skills, a stellar work ethic, and a professional appearance to the workplaceMotivated to learn new technologies and processesExhibits strong management and leadership skills, capable of leading and motivating othersDemonstrates excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolutionInteracts thoughtfully with people of all ages and cultural backgroundsMust pass a drug screen and background checkClean driving record and possession of a valid Texas driver's license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicleMust adhere to state and federal laws as well as abide by traffic laws while using company vehicles and/or on company businessAble to independently lift items up to 50 poundsCapable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods of timeWhat We OfferWe offer comprehensive benefits and compensation packages, including medical, dental, and vision coverageCertain benefits become effective after an introductory period.
