San Francisco Bay Area, CA | Full-Time | OnsiteA highly innovative engineering company focused on next-generation industrial and energy systems is hiring a CNC Machinist / Programmer to support its in-house manufacturing operations in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision machining, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and working closely with engineers to bring highly technical hardware from concept into production.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes in a precision manufacturing environmentSupport machining efforts for both prototype and low-volume production componentsOptimize tooling, setups, feeds/speeds, and machining strategies for accuracy and efficiencyInspect finished parts using precision measurement and metrology equipmentCollaborate closely with engineering teams on manufacturability and process improvementsTroubleshoot machining, dimensional, and quality-related issuesMaintain documentation related to machining processes and part configurationsAssist with shop organization, equipment upkeep, and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking For4+ years of CNC machining experience in a professional manufacturing environmentExperience programming and operating CNC mills and/or lathesStrong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretationExperience using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMsFamiliarity with CAM software such as Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar platformsComfortable working in a fast-paced, highly technical environment with shifting prioritiesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHands-on mentality with a willingness to take ownership across multiple areas of manufacturingIf you're interested, please apply here.
