You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care rendered preoperatively for your patients. As a valued addition to our company, you will exhibit the values of HCA as a whole, as well as your individual center, providing quality care like family.What you will do in this role:Prepare your patients' care area adequately before caseEnsure availability of necessary equipment and supplies for your patients' procedureConduct complete physical and psychological assessment and evaluation of your patients' history and diagnostic testsReview your patients' charts for completeness prior to surgeryAdminister pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribedMonitor your patients until transferred to the ORQualifications you will need:Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Preop, PACU, ICU or SurgeryActive RN license as required by state of employmentBCLS Certification upon employment. ***online certification not acceptableACLS required within 30-days of hirePALS if required by facility within 30-days of hireBenefitsLas Vegas Sahara, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
