Residential Support Specialist (Full-Time Overnight)

In this important role, you will provide direct care and supervision to residents during overnight hours, helping to ensure their safety, well-being, and accountability, including responding appropriately in emergency situations. This position works the overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and offers a pay rate of $23.25 per hour, along with eligibility for full benefits.To complete training successfully, applicants must be available to train on all three shifts. Training is paid at the employee's regular hourly rate, which ranges from $16.00 to $19.50 per hour based on education and experience. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.Key Responsibilities:Provide trauma-informed support and supervision to residents during overnight hoursConduct and document routine bed checks to ensure resident safetyAssist with medication administration, screenings (urine drug tests, breathalyzers, etc.), and other care tasks as neededSupport clients in maintaining daily routines, such as cleaning and preparing for the dayRespond appropriately to client needs or concerns overnightBe responsible for accounting for all clients in the event of an emergencyKnow and follow facility emergency protocols, including evacuation and incident reportingAct as point of contact for emergency services, self-help groups, and helpline calls during overnight hoursMaintain a secure, trauma-informed environment in the absence of clinical staffDocument relevant interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemPerform light housekeeping and office cleaning dutiesAttend required trainings, meetings, and maintain CBRF certificationsComplete 15+ hours of continuing education annuallyQualities of the Ideal Candidate:Calm, dependable, and confident in overnight and emergency situationsStrong communicator with solid documentation habitsDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and ethical client careAble to work independently while collaborating with a larger teamUpholds boundaries and organizational values in all interactionsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseAbility to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background CheckPreferred Experience:Previous experience working in a CBRF (Community-Based Residential Facility) settingBackground in substance use, mental health, or residential careBenefits Include:Health, dental, and vision insurance100% employer-paid long-term disability and life insuranceGenerous paid time off and holiday pay401(k) with employer matchEligibility for Public Service Loan ForgivenessA supportive, mission-driven work environmentJoin our team and help provide safety, support, and healing during the quiet hours.Arbor Place, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
