The position provides individualized instruction and support to young children with diverse learning and developmental needs. At the CCIU, we pride ourselves on the creativity, dedication, and collaborative spirit that our employees bring to their work every day, and we know that achieving success together takes a team approach!We strive to hire exceptional, motivated, and passionate individuals that help us achieve our vision of acting as educational leaders who contribute to a better Chester County and beyond.If you are looking for an exciting, challenging opportunity to grow your career, don't wait - apply today to make Team CCIU even stronger tomorrow!Essential Job Responsibilities:Participate in training provided by PDE related to specific techniques for students with multiple types of needs, such as social, physical motor, cognitive, communication & daily living skills.Provide training and guided practice to support staff related to specific classroom techniques.Provide guided practice related to the specific techniques in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis.Provide training and resources to parents and community stakeholders in activities related to Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior and the unique needs of the students.Provide intensive instruction during individual and group lessons in assigned classroom.Provide specially designed instruction for eligible special education students related to Applied Behavior Analysis.Plan curriculum based on a variety of evaluations/assessments including, not limited to, the VB MAPP, and Batelle Developmental Inventory-3rd Edition.Develop programs/lessons based on individual student assessment.Evaluate and monitor student progress based on classroom performance, progress monitoring data, and observation of behavior.Support objectives and interventions of the educational program.Maintain safe physical environment of the classroom.Maintain contact with parents of students and/or professionals concerning student progress through in-person meetings, zoom conferences, and written communication.Develop IEPs addressing specific academic, behavioral, and speech needs of studentsPrepare educational records, classroom observation records, and other documentation as required.Function as case manager on IEP team, addressing needs of students.Qualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Special Education required, Master's degree strongly preferredPDE Instructional Certificate in Special Education requiredProfessional or Other Required ClearancesCurrent police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances within 1 year requiredClearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)Salary 2025-2026 School Year:$58,751 to $88,563 - Instructional I Certification$61,300 to $92,110 - Instructional II Certification$65,394 to $100,586 - Master's Degree$68,403 to $104,546 - Master's + 15 Credits$69,938 to $106,442 - Master's + 30 CreditsSchedule:Monday-Friday (per PSE calendar), 7.5 hours per day, 194 days per school year including summersJGEqual Opportunity Employer
