DescriptionEquipment TechnicianReports to: Equipment ManagerLocation: Dalton, GASchedule: Swing Shift (12 hours)Day: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PMNight: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AMSummaryThe Equipment Technician is responsible for the preventive maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing process to ensure the successful execution of production activities all in accordance with the high industry standards and within manufacturing timescales.ResponsibilitiesEnsure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, IPA, cloths, vacuum and other appliancesDisassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using chain falls, hand tools and jacksExamine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirementsReplace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specificationsApplication of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with stated proceduresPut machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair workTake off hardened material from machines or machine parts by utilizing power and hand tools jack and sledge hammer, abrasive and other appliancesAdhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLSPerform other duties and special projects, as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications+3 years of cognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine partsStrong knowledge of mechanical maintenance processCritical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioningDiscipline to execute tasks without procrastinationExcellent time management skills and execute all orders and/or demands in a timely mannerAbility to handle basic toolsAbility to lift 50 pounds repetitively and without assistanceStrong knowledge of safety precautionsAbility to illustrate general maintenance requisite and simple procedures for operation on various pumps including reciprocating, centrifugal, vane, and etc.Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlledAssertive, able to cope with pressure, a team playerHanwha Q CELLS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
