End Date: 6/15/2027Schedule: Day Shift- 8am 4:30pmLocation: Onsite- Santa Rosa, CA 95403Job Code: JPC-11175/MSP # 1417433Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Mechanical Calibration Technician to work on-site with our client, a top-tier Fortune 100 global manufacturing company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.Responsibilities:Repair and/or Calibration of torque measuring/indicating devicesMechanical measurement of plain/thread pins and plug gaugesMechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts.The candidate will be responsible for direct application of technical skills. Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting technicians and NPI Engineers.Qualifications:At least 2 years of related experience in the calibration and repair of mechanical test equipment is strongly preferred.This position requires some education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience.Ideal candidate should have basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage and have Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background and be able to read blueprints.Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferredExperience using automated calibration software platforms is a plus.Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.Demonstrates mechanical competence.Works with clearly defined objectives on assignments that may be repetitive in nature.Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.Performs adjustments, calibrations and basic repairs.Escalates more difficult repairs to experienced technicians.Provides consistent, solid contribution to team and service center delivery goals.Candidates must be able to function with a high level of responsibility, use good judgment, and understand the impact of their decisions.We need hard-working, reliable employees.
