Job Description: Here's the updated job description incorporating RAG: We are seeking a skilled AI Developer with expertise in building intelligent agents and AI-powered solutions using LangChain and related frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing applications that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and demonstrate proficiency in prompt engineering techniques. Strong experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures is essential, including designing and implementing efficient document processing pipelines, vector stores, and semantic search capabilities. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI agents that can process natural language, perform complex tasks, and integrate with various APIs and data sources. Strong knowledge of Python, API development, and modern software development practices is essential, along with experience in building scalable RAG systems that can effectively handle extensive document collections. Experience with popular LLM platforms (Anthropic, OpenAI or Hugging Face), vector databases (such as Weaviate, Pinecone), and orchestration tools would be highly valuable, as well as familiarity with document chunking strategies and embedding models for optimal retrieval performance. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS Core Requirements Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Hugging Face) Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM best practices Experience building AI agents and autonomous systems Knowledge of vector databases and embedding technologies Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks Experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) implementations Understanding of AI/ML model deployment and monitoring Knowledge of AI safety and responsible AI development practices Proficiency in Python or Java Good to Have Sybase (SQL/MSSQL) Linux Container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes) Knowledge & practical usage of Design Patterns Proficiency in a Linux/Unix environment ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS A strong sense of ownership of deliveries and a team player with good communication skills Full software development lifecycle experience Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior staff members Ability to work in distributed, global teams Strong sense of quality in a software development process Understanding of key reference data concepts: Counterparty or Accounts Experience working in a rapidly changing, fast-paced business environment Understanding of data-model concepts (entities, attributes, relationships, etc.) Ability to bridge traditional software development with AI-powered solutions Experience in identifying use cases for AI implementation Understanding of AI project lifecycle and implementation challenges Ability to evaluate and integrate new AI technologies into existing systems The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional software development skills with modern AI development capabilities, enabling the transformation of existing systems through AI integration while maintaining robust engineering practices.
