POSITION SUMMARYThis role provides specialized cardiac anesthesia services within a high volume regional referral environment. The physician will support operative and procedural care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases while contributing to safe, evidence based perioperative management. 2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Deliver cardiac anesthesia care for surgical and interventional procedures.• Supervise anesthesia services in operative and procedural settings as assigned.• Provide anesthesia support for catheter based cardiac interventions.• Interpret perioperative diagnostic studies within scope of training.• Document clinical care using an industry standard EMR. 3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Active or obtainable State medical license.• Active or obtainable State controlled substance registration.• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology.• Certification in advanced perioperative echocardiography. 4. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Experience providing anesthesia care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures.• Familiarity with team based anesthesia models. 5. COMPETENCIES• Strong perioperative clinical judgment.• Effective communication with surgical, procedural, and anesthesia teams.• Proficiency with industry standard EMR systems.• Commitment to safe, high quality anesthesia practice.• Ability to manage complex cardiac cases. 6. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide anesthesia for cardiac surgical procedures.• Deliver anesthesia services for catheter based cardiac interventions.• Participate in supervision of anesthesia care as appropriate.• Interpret perioperative imaging and monitoring data.• Support continuity of care throughout the perioperative period. 7. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.• Participate in departmental quality and performance initiatives. 8. WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENTWork Environment: Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)• Operative and procedural care settings.• Collaborative anesthesia team including physicians and CRNAs.• Access to modern perioperative monitoring and diagnostic tools.• Support from cardiac dedicated anesthesia staff.• Use of industry standard EMR systems. 9. SCHEDULE & CALL REQUIREMENTSStandard clinical hours with shared call responsibilities. 10. REPORTING STRUCTUREThis position reports to Clinical Leadership within the organization. 11.
