Position HighlightsDepartment: Diagnostic Imaging - Shoreline Medical CenterHours: Per DiemShift: Flexible/VariablePosition Summary:Using independent judgment, the CT Technologist performs a wide-range of CT imaging procedures in addition to:Assists physicians and provides patient care essential to imaging proceduresExercises professional judgment in the performance of all CT proceduresApplies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient servicesAssists new employees and students in training as neededPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography programRegistered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in good standingValid/Eligible State of Connecticut Radiographer LicensePrevious CT scan experiencePreferred Skills: Advanced ARRT Certificate in Computed Tomography or eligibility to sit for boards.Experience with GE CT scanners, AW workstations and Medrad injectors preferred.Epic experienceGoogle Drive and Google Spreadsheet knowledgeCPR certificationAS/BS degreeGood work ethic, integrity and professional communication skills.Dependability and work schedule flexibilityBenefits of Working at Middlesex HealthWhen you choose Middlesex Health, you have chosen a health care system that strives for excellence in patient care as well as employee satisfaction.
