Material Handler (TEMP)

Position: Deburr/Material Handler (TEMP)Shift: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PMPosition Overview:This position is responsible for cleaning, deburring of sharp edges stamping and engraving of part numbers, and other relevant information required on our components.Job Responsibilities: Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, interoperates, and executes per previous to finish workpiecesDeburring of partsClean and wash finished parts as requiredInstall protective covering of components as directedMay perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisorCore Qualifications:High school diploma6 months’ experience in a shop environmentMust have good mechanical aptitude and be able to lift 50 lb’sClose attention and care is required to prevent damage to costly partsMust be able to read basic shop routings and blueprints and follow detailed verbal instructionsMust be proficient or develop proficiency in the use of hand tools i.e. files, deburr knifes, scrapers hammer and stencilsMust be proficient in the use of power tools both air and electric to finish componentsSkills & AbilitiesAbility to read blueprints and shop routingsAbility to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demandingMust be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skillsExhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energyWorks well meeting multiple deadline with the ability to deliver on time
