Position Overview Provide medical hospitalist and medical house services under supervision of on-site hospitalist physicians. Responsible for history and physical exams, admits, discharges, and rounds for both the hospitalist service and for the private attending staff (as requested). Will provide cross coverage as needed/requested by nursing and medical staff. Perform consultations on psychiatric patients. Rounding on assigned medical hospitalist patients and on patients as requested by facility medical staff. Compliant with all MDICS quality initiatives.
