Position: Food Service Prep Cook
Location: St. Catherine of Siena Hospital(50 NY-25A, Smithtown, NY 11787)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food items for events
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
