Our team is committed to excellence, innovation, and supporting critical operations that protect our nation.Position DescriptionWe are seeking an Expert Front End Web Developer to support a newly awarded 5-year contract delivering advanced geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) capabilities across mission-critical systems. This effort focuses on the development, integration, and deployment of modern, user-facing applications that support end-to-end workflows for tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of intelligence data.The program brings together engineering, development, and test teams to build and deliver new capabilities, integrate diverse data sources and systems, and enhance performance across a complex, multi-domain environment. Work spans the full lifecycle, from application design and development through integration and deployment, ensuring scalable, high-performing solutions that directly support operational intelligence missions.Primary Responsibilities Lead development of frontend web applications using Angular and/or React that integrate with backend services Design and support backend service development using Java, including building or maintaining RESTful services as needed Architect and develop frontend applications using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks like LESS and SASS, Responsive Design, Bourbon, Twitter Bootstrap) Lead development of JavaScript solutions using modern standards, including modularization techniques and frameworks and libraries (e.g., jQuery, MV* frameworks such as Backbone.js and Ember.js, D3) Design and integrate RESTful APIs to support dynamic, user-facing applications Guide development of views and templates in full-stack frameworks like Rails, Express, or Django Oversee creation of web layouts from static images and ensure consistent UI/UX implementation Provide technical leadership within Agile development teams Establish and enforce best practices for version control using Git and GitHub Ensure Section 508 compliance across applications Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and development techniques Contribute to and guide the use of open-source solutions and community resources Mentor junior developers and support team growth and knowledge sharingRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of relevant experience Extensive experience developing and architecting frontend applications using modern web technologies Strong JavaScript development expertise, including modern standards, modularization techniques, and framework selection Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar Experience developing views and templates within full-stack frameworks such as Rails, Express, Django, or similar Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs Experience supporting or developing RESTful services using Java Experience leading development efforts in Agile environments Proficiency with Git-based version control systems Experience ensuring accessibility compliance Experience leading troubleshooting efforts and supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 issue resolution Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience with Kubernetes and Docker Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Puppet Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies Experience with SAFe processesCompensation$140,000–$165,000The Ennoble First pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
